When I was in college, I wanted to go to a language school abroad, but because of my studies and my economy, I waited until I graduated to go abroad. Many countries have language schools, but only the Philippines for English and one-on-one courses, and based on my economic ability to evaluate, I finally chose the Philippines. But after all, language needs time to accumulate, so I applied to CIJ’s Chinese student manager after the end of the language school course. On the one hand, I have the experience of working abroad and can learn.

Question 1:

What did you think after studying at the Premium campus?

Betty : 

BETTY is studying at the Premium campus for two months. The premium campus is located in a high-class apartment in the city. It is convenient to sm mall and Ayala mall. Although the school has access control, it can go out every day. He felt that the accommodation was really good, the bed was very comfortable, there was a TV in the living room, a balcony and a washing machine to wash clothes on his own. It was really suitable for family or friends to study together. I feel that I have to prepare for myself before class. Many teachers will not prepare lessons in advance. If you want to use your time effectively and learn how to understand the absorption, you must take time to review and prep.

Question 2:

What did you think after studying at the Sparta campus?

Betty : months. I think the accommodation is very clean. Although it is a Spartan system (high-intensity study and study time is very long, but there is an invincible sea view from the door, the hard work in class After seeing this piece of sea, it was diluted. The morning morning word test and the evening film test also urged me to study. The school library was also open until midnight, in addition to having air-conditioning, I felt more like reading with my classmates. I am motivated. I think the interaction between the Spartan campus peers is relatively dense. The WIFY here is not very good, but because of this, students spend more time studying and communicating with others.

Question3 :

Difficulties encountered during the study and how to solve them?

Betty : 

The first is to speak English so that the muscles at the mouth are sour. It sounds funny, but because every class is taught in English, the mouth muscles used in English and Chinese are different, so sometimes the mouth feels sour. Second, the amount of words is not enough. The amount of words is really a big problem and weakness. When I want to express my thoughts more deeply, there will be no words to describe. I will use simple words to describe the words I want to express. The teacher will also teach me from my expression. More difficult words. This part is also to spend more time on your own. I have to buy a single-word book, ask the teacher to help me with the test every day. After the test, I use the word to do the extension. Under the accumulation of time, I also added a lot of single words.

 

 

 

Question4 :

Share the two teachers who have the most influence on you.

Betty :

Zilla Sparta’s resident teacher, her class is almost full and will not be empty, so his class is very attractive to students. Although the class is almost full, she is very energetic in class, and I am the same age as Zilla. Although I have different nationalities, we don’t have a generation gap. She often shares her love views and ideas with me. Learning English is also a good way to learn. To the culture of the Philippines. Lilibeth teaches experienced writing teachers, but I ask the teacher to teach me the grammar. I think the writing ability is good, the grammar foundation is stable, the teacher has a daughter who is as old as me, so I often share with me the idea of being a mother, even though She has been graduating from school for a long time, but she still asks the child to keep learning. Her daughter is now also an English teacher in the primary school in the Philippines!

Question5 :

Studying in Cebu for half a year, recommend a place to relax.

Betty :

I really like to go to the restaurant to listen to singing and massage. There are many restaurants near the city of Cebu, and people are singing in the weekends, and some are still opening songs. I think the most relaxing thing is to order a bottle of local beer, then sit down and listen to songs and chat with friends. The songs in the Philippines are also very nice! The students who study together in Sparta have a good relationship. On Friday, they are forced to self-study until 8:00. After that, everyone will go out together. The massage parlour near the premium campus also has a discount on student ID.

Some suggestions for students who are considering whether to come to CIJ to study!

Betty :

Like I used to have no confidence in my English, I dare not speak, so I have not used it since I was a child for so many years. If you don’t want to waste your time, it’s better to come to the Philippines to learn English in one go! The one-on-one teaching method will definitely enable you to improve your English skills quickly. It is also recommended that you can start learning before coming to the Philippines. As I know, if you have a single word, you can start to slowly pull back the word.
