TK經驗談 – SM seasid 看夕陽,吃好料

Hi guys I’m TK Vietnam intern manager at CIJ Academy. Continued with the experience story, today I will share experience at SM Cebu Seaside.

At 4:00 pm, finishing work at the office, I went back to my room to rest for a few minutes and prepared to go out to explore life in Cebu City. Referring to Cebu, it is impossible not to mention the busy, large trade centers. This is currently the third largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the tenth in the world. The shopping center has a total leasing area of more than 470,486 square meters. The number of stores and services here is over 700 stores.

Starting from the Premium facility, I walked to the Sarosa hotel for 5 minutes, then I ride a new public transport recently put into use called a beep (like a bus but smaller) to transfer to Robinsons Fuente. I paid 8 pesos for this turn. After coming to Robinsons I continued to ride another public transport, it is My Bus, to go to SM Seaside Cebu. Nearly the rush hour, the traffic also began to get more crowded, bus moved quite slowly.

Finally arriving, I quickly ran to the top floor of the center to watch the sunset. A park was built on the terrace of the commercial center, it impressed me when I first came here. Until now the feeling of sitting here is still quite special. People here say that if lovers can watch the sunset together, they will be together forever. It’s just a story, but the feeling for this lover is really great. If you have a chance with the person you love here, experience this feeling. But going with friends is not bad.

The sun was gone after the mountain, my stomach was ringing because of hunger and also the time to find food. I started walking around the restaurants, feeling overwhelmed by the variety of food from different countries. Finally, I decided to choose Ramen Pepper at Tokyo Tokyo restaurant for my dinner. I have never tried this dish here but its taste did not disappoint me.

You can also choose many other dishes here. Japanese palate: Yoshinoya, Shabu Shabu Ichiban, Osaka Takoyaki, Tokyo Joe,… Korean, you can try: Seoul Bibimbob, Lamujin, Kogi Q,… Local restaurants are also quite well-matched with I like: Paolito’s by STK Ta Bai, Zubuchon, Seafood Island, Choobi choobi,… Also there are American, Chinese and Thai restaurants.

After a light relaxation at the business center, it’s time to come back. I went back to CIJ by taxi for safety reasons (270 pesos for this ride). You can also choose the Grab method, with the correct price

You should come here on the weekend to have more time for your experience. Here you can shop, participate in skating, bowling, watching movies,…

More information about transportation:

Beep: From 8 pesos for one go, you can pay 10 pesos or 12 pesos for further distance. My bus: 25 Peso per turn, from 10am to 8pm. From Robinsons Fuente to SM Seaside Cebu mall is free.

Taxi: The taxi fare started from 40 Peso for the first kilometer, the next kilometer is 13.5 Pesos and 2 Pesos for a minute. Prices depend on the road and travel time. When you return to CIJ you can tell the driver to Mabolo, Tancor 1, near Sarosa Hotel. And don’t forget to remind the driver to turn on the meter.

Grab: using normal as other countries. Mostly Grab 4 seats, difficult to book Grab 7 seats. In mall centers such as SM, Ayala often have the support to book Grab car. When you cannot connect to the internet you can ask their help.

To ensure safety, you should choose a taxi or grab and should go into a group. That just helps you save costs and avoid the danger.

My experience story today ends here, hoping this story will contribute to creating more beautiful memories for you during your study at CIJ. Don’t forget to continue supporting my next experience story. Thank you!
